Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, today announced a strategic and exclusive partnership with Alteqo BV, a leading manufacturer of glycerol-based products, including the distribution of Glycasol (Isopropylidene Glycerol) in Home Care, I&I and Beauty & Personal Care applications.
Glycasol serves as a sustainable, effective, multifunctional solvent and carrier for essential oils in Beauty & Personal Care products, improving the diffusion process without compromising performance. It combines strong cleaning performance with a reduced environmental impact compared to conventional solvents. Glycasol is produced in Europe and increasingly being used as a replacement for commonly used glycol ethers, as it offers a more sustainable alternative with fewer environmental concerns.
